Santa Eugènia climbs a small hill 15 km from Palma, with hamlets like Ses Alqueries and Ses Coves scattered around it and the ridge of the Puig de Santa Eugènia giving views from the bay of Palma to the Tramuntana.
It is the first taste of countryside on the way out of the city: lanes to Santa Maria del Camí, Sencelles and Algaida through vines and almond groves, with the Tramuntana foothills 10 km north. Santa Eugènia is about 35 minutes (42 km) from our Paguera shop.
Ride Idea: The Vineyard Loop
From Santa Eugènia drop to Santa Maria del Camí, ride through the wine village of Consell and return via Sencelles — about 36 km of vineyard lanes with the Tramuntana on the horizon and a short climb back up to the village at the end. The Orient valley climbs above Alaró are 18 km away for a bigger day.
