Cycling in Andratx – Where the MA-10 Coastal Road Begins
Andratx marks the south-western gateway to the Serra de Tramuntana: the point where the world-famous MA-10 coastal road begins its journey along the cliffs towards Estellencs, Banyalbufar and beyond. Between the market town of Andratx, the yacht harbour of Port d'Andratx and the sleepy end-of-the-road village of Sant Elm, the municipality offers quiet roads and constant sea views.
It is also our home terrain — the first climbs of almost every ride that leaves our Paguera (Peguera) shop. The steady drag up the Coll de sa Gramola is the classic warm-up of the southwest, while Monport hides one of the steepest residential ramps on the island. All climbs below include interactive maps, photos and free GPX downloads.
