Route Highlights:
- From Paguera Inland: After starting in Paguera, you'll head through the quieter village of Es Capdellà, perfect for warming up, as you prepare for the first major climb of the day.
- The Ascent to Galilea: A beautiful climb awaits you to the picturesque mountain village of Galilea, which will reward you with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and the sea in the distance. It's a perfect spot for a short break and a photo.
- Descent and Another Valley (Puigpunyent): After a well-deserved descent from Galilea, you'll ride through a fertile valley to another charming village, Puigpunyent, nestled among the mountains. Here you can refuel before the next climb.
- Over the Mountains to the Sea (Banyalbufar): From Puigpunyent, another climb awaits, leading you to the iconic MA-10 road and the coastal gem – Banyalbufar. Admire the famous terraced slopes descending steeply to the sea and enjoy your first glimpses of the wild west coast.
- Coastal Splendor (Estellencs): Continue along one of the world's most beautiful coastal roads to the village of Estellencs. Every bend reveals new, dramatic views of cliffs and turquoise sea. This is a section where you'll want to stop for photos almost constantly!
- The Road to Andratx: Follow the coastline that takes you to the larger town of Andratx, known for its historic center and lively atmosphere. This can be a good spot for a longer refreshment break.
- Return via Es Capdellà: From Andratx, the route turns back inland, again through Es Capdellà, and from there it's just a short ride back to your base in Paguera, where you can celebrate your great achievement.
