Port des Canonge - Ma-10: Hidden Gem Twisty Ride

Another of Mallorca's 'descend first' challenges, the road to Port des Canonge branches off the Ma-10 between Banyalbufar and Valldemossa. After enjoying the quiet coastal village, climb back up the ~5km ascent.

This climb is renowned for its sheer number of hairpin bends (around 23!) concentrated in the middle section. The road is narrow and winds through pine forest with glimpses of the sea.

Gradients average around 6.5%, with steeper pitches. The road surface is mostly good but requires care on the tight bends. It's significantly quieter than Sa Calobra or Port de Valldemossa.
