Begin your climb just outside Palma de Mallorca, near the Ma-20 ring road (Genova exit), heading northwest on the Ma-1043. The Coll de sa Creu is a favoured route for cyclists escaping the city and venturing towards Calvià and the southwestern Tramuntana.
Enjoy a pleasant ascent on a narrow, winding road through largely forested terrain. The road surface is generally good, often recently repaved. While not offering constant panoramas, the shade can be welcome.
With a steady gradient around 5-6% and light traffic after leaving Palma's edge, it's a rewarding climb. The summit area is near the minor Coll des Vent. Explore the route in detail with our interactive map, check the elevation profile, view route photos, and download the GPX file for your device.
